Expand your family, Expand your World!
Our form is fillable from the computer! No need to print and scan. Just make sure you save your document once it’s complete.
Once you have completed the fillable application, email it to us or print and drop it off at the School District No. 67 School Board Office.
Our homestay coordinator will arrange a time to visit your home, meet the whole family, view your home, and discuss what is involved in being a homestay parent. Items that will be discussed at your interview:
- Home Inspection
- Discuss expectations and responsibilities of being a host family
- Discuss Student Care Reimbursement details (also in the host family agreement)
- Complete the Electronic Funds Transfer Form (EFT)
- Review and sign the Host Family Agreement
- Homestay Coordinator will verify identification for CRC
After your interview (or possibly before) our homestay coordinator will provide the applicant with a link to complete the CRC. The host family must agree to provide CRC for all individuals over the age of 18 living in the home. This must be completed a minimum of every 3 years, or if requested by SD67 and will immediately report to SD67 if any individuals in the home is charged with a criminal offence.
